Annie’s designed this ever-so-pretty top with a reinforced scoop neckline, short ‘cap’ sleeves and a raised ’empire’ or ‘baby doll’ waist. The two-layer skirt section is softly gathered; the outer layer is slit at each hip, creating the effect of an ‘apron’. String ties at the back allow you to create just the fit you like. The hemline curves up at each hip; length is longest at front and back centers. Overall length is approximately mid-thigh.
The bodice is made up in our best stretch lycra, a supportive fabric that skims your curves with a sleek, slenderizing and smoothing effect. The skirt is made of 2 layers of our semi-sheer and gauzy lighter-weighted rayon; it’s silky, soft and delicately feminine. The layers are offset so that both are visible.
