Annie’s designed this chic and elegant dress with a “bubble” or inverted a-line form. It’s a deliciously graceful style and you’ll appreciate the way the form just skims smoothly over your curves. Flattering and seductive but not too revealing………..
It starts out with a ‘slip’ styled bodice, delicate spaghetti straps, and a self-trimmed and reinforced scoop neckline. It’s loosely fitted through the bodice and then begins to arc out dramatically from about the waist to below the hip, at which point it arcs sharply back in toward the figure. A lush pooling of fabric settles at each hip, creating a draping pocket-like effect. It’s quite charming.
Made up in our very best quality rayon jersey, a supportive and stretchy fabric with a lustrous finish, a silky and soft texture that’s quite sensuous and a fabulously fluid draping quality that enhances the appeal of the design. Easy to care for, launder in cold water, hang to dry.
This new bubble style is all the rage this season, and Annie’s version is one of the best. Well designed and executed by our tremendously talented seamstresses from the finest materials. At a ‘straight-from-the producer’ reasonable cost. This one’s a gem. (If you prefer a little more cover through the bust, check out the jersey shrugs in our store (there are 3 or 4 different styles).
