This outrageously chic top reminds me of a gourmet recipe for fashion. Annie’s designed it with two cups of lagenlook, a couple tablespoons “Downton Abbey flapper” and a generous pinch of ‘steam punk’ patina. Oh, and don’t forget the sugar for to add a delicious sweetness and PLENTY of spice………
Here are the details; the scoop neckline is broad, self-trimmed and double-stitched. The little sleeves just ‘cap’ the shoulder ever so sweetly, and the bodice is loosely fitted. An inset and double-stiched band arcs across the figure at the hip, creating a ‘drop-waist’ that’s the cat’s meow. Dual pockets are formed here in both front and back.
Now we come to the glorious hemline, which arcs up in the center front, creating a very vogue “shark bite” effect. There is also a turned under balloon treatment at each side. Overall length at center front is above-the-knee on most, and below-the-knee at the sides.
Made up in Lotustraders’ top quality rayon jersey, a stretchy (but not too clingy) fabric with a sensuously silky texture and a superb drape and flow quality. Easy to care for, cold water wash, hang to dry.
